The website is operated by Hetzner (Germany / EU). Hetzner processes data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

1. Data processing when accessing the website

  • Data categories: IP address, date / time, requested URL, referrer, user agent, accept-language, possibly session ID.
  • Purposes: delivery of the website, stability, security, error management.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in operation and security).
  • Storage duration: server logs max. 7–14 days, then deletion / anonymisation.
  • Recipient: Hetzner (processor).

2. Cookies and technical storage

  • Session cookie “PHPSESSID”: for session management and language selection. Legal basis: § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TTDSG (technically necessary) in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Storage duration: until the end of the session.
  • Language preference: currently held server-side in the session. If a local key “bruysten-language” is additionally present in the browser, it serves solely to display the selected language. Legal basis: § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TTDSG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

No tracking or marketing cookies are set.

3. Contact via the form

  • Purposes: processing the request, correspondence.
  • Legal bases: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual communication) and lit. f (general inquiries).
  • Transmission to third parties: sending via Mailjet (processor).
  • Legal instruments: data processing agreement; standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR, where third countries are affected in individual cases.
  • Storage duration: records from inquiries 6–24 months, unless longer retention obligations exist.
