Human-led
The classic programme: workshops, sparring, real rooms, real decisions. Phoenix works quietly underneath as the shared memory and the evidence base.
Phoenix
Phoenix is our own AI platform for strategy and scenarios. It takes the consulting model we have built over 25 years — the journey, the diagnostics, the playbooks — and lets it run continuously. Human-led, hybrid, or fully AI: same model, your speed.
Why now
The gap is rarely intelligence. It is latency: by the time a shift reaches the quarterly review, the room to act has narrowed. Phoenix closes that distance — it watches continuously, turns what it sees into concrete futures, and puts the consequence in front of the person who has to decide.
Relevant shifts are picked up as they emerge — in the market, the supply chain, the regulation, the mood.
Signals become scenario logic: a clear, comparable model of how your world could actually change.
Every scenario is matched against your capabilities, your culture and your competitive position.
What comes out is not a report. It is a decision, with an owner, a threshold and a moment.
Foresight that behaves like an operating system: always on, always specific, always attached to a decision.
One model, three speeds
Our strategy work is described step by step in the Future Journey. Phoenix is that same journey, digitised end to end — so you can run it in the room with our people, run it with agents doing the legwork between sessions, or let it run on its own.
The classic programme: workshops, sparring, real rooms, real decisions. Phoenix works quietly underneath as the shared memory and the evidence base.
People set the direction, agents do the legwork — scanning, drafting, stress-testing between sessions. The pace of software with the judgement of experienced operators.
An always-on agent swarm runs the process: scanning the world, maintaining the scenarios, checking decisions, and raising an alert when something genuinely needs a human.
What's inside
Each part is useful on its own. Together they close a circle: the world comes in, futures are built, decisions come out — and what happens next feeds straight back in.
Agents read news agencies, research, studies, feeds, forums and newsletters — and, where you want it, your own data streams and document systems. They find patterns, write up what matters, and raise an alert when it cannot wait for the next meeting.
From what comes in, Phoenix builds and maintains scenarios: clear models of how your market, environment and supply chain could change. Together they form a scenario space that any decision-maker can search — or test a thesis against.
The full chain from a shared picture of the future down to the initiatives that make it real — and the guidelines that keep everything coherent on the way there.
Have a decision challenged before you take it — against the latest signals, the scenario space and your own playbook. And looking outward: what competitors are doing, how they are positioned per scenario, and where that opens a gap for you.
A large cast of agents, each with its own expertise, character and point of view. They research, they argue, they play roles — so an idea meets real resistance long before the market provides it.
Interviews, questionnaires and checklists, built and evaluated inside the platform and fed straight back into the picture — alongside a library of future nuggets, quotes and scenario cards to open up a room.
The Playbook
The Playbook is where strategy is actually built. Seven steps, each one a real artefact your organisation can work with — and each one cut to fit how your specific organisation ticks.
How this one organisation really works: its own structures, how formal and informal are handled, how decisions get made, how trust and momentum are built. Once captured, it becomes the reality check for everything else — and tailors every following step to you. It can be added at any point.
One shared, ambitious picture of where the journey leads. Built to hold for a decade or more — especially in times when little else does. A few fields are mandatory; the rest can deepen over time.
The strategic routes through the scenario space toward that picture: thesis, referenced scenarios, business dimensions, organisational levels, territories, time horizon, expected outcomes — and the assumptions each route depends on.
Concrete positions along a pathway: what exactly should be true, for whom, by when — with value proposition, scope, critical assumptions and success metrics you can actually check.
The projects that turn a target picture into reality: objectives, scope, horizon and milestones, concrete deliverables, owners, risks and governance.
What follows from everything above: the rules and the calls that let the organisation develop consistently and coherently, instead of case by case.
Who is affected, who decides, who carries it — and how each of them is brought along across every step of the chain.
Every step is a living object in Phoenix: versioned, linked to the scenarios that justify it, and re-checked whenever the world moves.
About the operating systemAgents
Most AI gives you one voice. Phoenix gives you many — each with a defined expertise, a psychological profile, a leadership style and a worldview. That makes them useful precisely where a single perspective is the problem.
The neutral analyst: gather, structure, compare, cite. The classic job, done at volume and at speed.
The disengaged employee, the customer who nearly left, the sceptical board member. Put a plan in front of the people it will actually hit.
Perspectives with a track record — including historical ones — brought to bear on a live question, in your context.
A panel that argues with your thesis from several directions at once — against your scenarios, your capabilities and your own numbers.
Strategic intent · Guiding principles · Leadership profile · Decision mode · Risk posture · Motivation drivers · Epistemic temperament · Social orientation · Bias profile · Governance philosophy
Because every profile is explicit, you always know whose lens you are looking through — and you can change it in one move.
Integrated, not bolted on
An insight only changes something once it reaches the people who act. Entro — our sister platform, built by our subsidiary intelligence GmbH — takes validated findings out of Phoenix and turns them into things an organisation can actually receive: an internal briefing, a board newsletter, a customer alert, a blog post, or a short learning unit that gets a team ready for a scenario before it arrives.
Entro is not a tool inside Phoenix — it is a platform in its own right, connected to it. Where the two are linked, they run under a dedicated security protocol: you decide what leaves and what stays.
What it stands on
Phoenix is not a wrapper around a language model. Its world model, its question sets and its checklists come out of work we did long before the platform existed.
The strategy and scenario ontology behind Phoenix — the world model, the question catalogues, the checklists — was built from our own research programme. Not scraped together; built, tested and revised.
Our researchMethods developed and proven at economics and sociology faculties in Germany and France, applied across 25 years of practice as strategy consultants and change agents — and only then taught to the machine.
